It makes them think you are a home cleaning fanatic or a home maintenance god and they trust that someone that keeps their closets just so must be on top of every little repair or facet of their home.
Buyers pay extra for homes they think are really well maintained.
Get away from arranging boxes haphazardly around the house that you and
your buyers later have to step over.

your home online before they ever do a drive by or commit to a showing appointment.
Being able to take good exterior photos of your home is critical. Is the shrubbery overgrown Are there dangling branches or unruly trees, damaged or maligned shutters, missing roof shingles, is the look just too busy.
Now is the time to act. Go ahead and heavily cut back any plantings that
have taken over. As for dangerous trees and tree limbs, ugly fences, and overgrown shrubs, take preemptive action now and you can potentially increase your homes value by 5K more.
Keep kids toys in the garage, the front yard sparse of political signs,
furniture, outdated seasonal appointments like Halloween goblins or holiday lighting, and try to put your best foot forward.
Make the buyers want to call to set up an appointment.
Make your front yards' curb appeal say "We are responsible homeowners, we like our home, we hate to have to leave it and the neighborhood and we are looking for a good family to hand the baton off to".
Lawn maintenance, mulching, leaf removal are all basics that go without
saying. The days of the real estate bubble in Mass are long gone, you have to work it a little on your curb appeal and how your home looks online in order to maximize the
value.
